When you book a treatment with me, you will receive a new client form via email. Filling it in advance saves time before the treatment, allowing you to relax and mentally prepare rather than think of your date of birth or when the pain started. Moreover, it allows me to start planning your treatment and structure it best.
When you arrive, I will address any questions and concerns we may have, but from that point, it's all about the treatment. The aim is to give you as much time and attention on the treatment table as possible.
During the treatment, feel free to let me know of any discomfort or if you prefer firmer or lighter pressure. Even if you book a Deep Tissue Sports massage, it doesn’t have to be painful! I will adjust to your feedback, which is very valuable during the treatment and helps achieve the best outcome.
Minimal talking during the session helps you connect with your body better. I tend to keep quiet while working to connect with your energy somatically, without overanalyzing until the massage is complete.
After the treatment, I will have a good idea of the conditions affecting your wellbeing. I can advise on post-treatment aftercare, exercises, or lifestyle adjustments that would contribute to your wellness. I often emphasise the importance of balancing strength and flexibility, where the magic and ease happen. You may have heard the term "tensegrity"—that's the theory behind healthy movement.
Regular holistic massage is highly beneficial for your health and longevity, and I recommend it every 3 to 4 weeks. If you're recovering from an injury or severe condition, seeing me every couple of weeks would optimise recovery and help solidify positive lifestyle changes.
